Nicolás Ferraro was born in Buenos Aires in 1986. He coordinates the Centre for the Study of Literary Genres at the Mariano Moreno National Library. He wrote Dogo, Cruz, El cielo que nos queda and Ámbar. The latter won the Dashiell Hammett Prize for best crime novel at Semana Negra de Gijón in 2022. His work has been published in the United States, Mexico, France, Italy, Brazil and Spain.
