Gabriel Weinstein was born in Argentina in 1959. He is a journalist and a screenwriter for film and television. He studied at the International Film and Television School in San Antonio de los Baños and received screenwriting awards at the Guayaquil and Gualeguaychú film festivals. Since 2015 he has hosted the radio programme El dulce veneno de la novela negra. In 2025 he published Con sudor de tinta. Cuentos policiales de Roberto Arlt.
