Cecilia Ríos

Profile

Cecilia Ríos was born in Montevideo in 1959. She wrote the novels Volver de noche, winner of the 2017 Lussich Prize, and Apenas lo conocía, which received a distinction from the MEC. She published the short-story collections Sigiloso dinosaurio, No fumes ni vayas a la guerra, Un desperfecto en la carretera and Caballo regalado. Her work also spans poetry and drama.
